Established in the late 1930s by the Russian immigrants, the Russian Center of San Francisco served as the primary point of Russian cultural heritage preservation. It is nestled in Sutter Street in San Francisco, California and features a 550-seater ballroom/theater complete with a theater-level stage, a spacious gym, an in-house restaurant, a dance studio, and the office and meeting rooms. The actual building dates back to 1911 and was renovated to meet modern construction requirements, all while keeping the original architecture of the structure.
