InterCityHotels is a modern hotel chain under the Deutsche Hospitality management. Formerly known as Steigenberger Hotel Group, Deutsche Hospitality was founded in 1930. In mid-2009, the Egyptian travel and tourism company Travco Group acquired the mother company until the new name was publicly released in 2016.
