Hotel Monterey Group opened its doors for guests in 1986, and has since then, continued to make its mark in Japan’s hospitality industry. They count 16 hotels in their portfolio, located in the areas of Sapporo, Sendai, Tokyo, Yokohama, Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe, and Himeji. The hotel’s concept is to recreate history through its building and décor, reproducing the charm of various cities in each of its hotels. The result are buildings that are the combination of cultures, giving local tourists a worldly sense while allowing foreign tourists to feel at home. The Monterey Hotels have been described as romantic and whimsical by various authorities in the industry. The facades of Monterey Hotels follow are more modern cut done in the Rococo style.
