All hotels under this brand are conveniently located in central business districts. Route Inn GrantiaWakamiya is the hotel chain’s budget hotel. Ark Hotel Okayam, meanwhile is an urban hotel that is ideal for hosting special events like wedding and banquet. Lastly, Grandvrio Hotel is a resort-style hotel. Route-Inn Hotels also has its brand of a golf course, restaurants, warm bath facility, and skiing area. As of April this year, the hotel group employs 14,703.
Route Inn Hotels’ first ever hotel Ueda Royal Hotel opened for business in 1985. It operated under that name until it was changed to Route Inn in 1996. It first established its Tokyo head office in Nishigotanda, Shinagawa-ku in 2000 until it finally finds it home in Oi, Shinagawa-ku six years after. In 2008. The hotel chain acquired Ueda Maruko Grandvrio Golf Club and SugadairaKogen Snow Resort in 2008. On the same year, Route Inn Hotels achieved 200 hotels nationwide.
