Forenom is a serviced apartment provider that has made the effort of grouping the best properties together all in one platform for guests to be able to find the best option for their travel needs. Their focus is on business travelers, but they never isolate other travelers may it be for leisure or just for fun. They are based on the Nordic Regions, offering over 6,500 serviced apartments, aparthotel and hostel rooms across Scandinavian cities, and caters to over 100,000 tourists from all over the world per year.
Forenom’s journey began in 2000, with 2 friends who are Finnish nationals, who found a lapse on the housing market or the hospitality industry. They were quite disappointed to the lack of short-term hotels and long-term apartment rentals, which was a staple on the growing numbers of the young workforce seeking a place to stay before and after their day or night job. During that time, Forenom saw the opportunity to introduce their business, as they found hotels to be too expensive and apartments as too permanent for the young workforce. Markus Oksa and MikkoLeppänen made Forenom and have hired Johannes Kangas to lead the newly created company. And Forenom has been successful ever since they launched it.
