About Andrew Brownsword Hotels Oxford City Centre
Andrew Bronnsword Hotels is named after its founder, Andrew Douglas Bronsword who has lived quite he life in his early to prime years. Born in 1947, the English entrepreneur established the famous Forever Friends Company and frequently got featured on the Sunday Times Rich List. He has an estimated fortune of £190 million. Take note of the term fortune rather than just the common net worth they use in most moguls. In 1971, Brownsword’s first venture, the Andrew Brownsword Collection, a publishing business was born. He started off by selling greeting cards to retailers from the back of his car. Retailers like WH Smith were a big fan. In 1987, the entrepreneur took a sharp turn into crafting a teddy bear that would appeal to adults as much as it would to children.
This gave birth to the Forever Friends enterprise, which became the highlight of his career in business. By the late 1990s, Andrew already had enough funds to even get into another business. His income from greeting cards and the teddy bear skyrocketed that he was able to form the group Andrew Brownsword Hotels which he began by purchasing properties and small-time hotels. In 2011, Andrew acquired 4 major properties including the famous Amberley Castle. From then on, he would extend the operations of the chain by a 2-digit number almost every year.
