Camino Real is a hotel chain based in Mexico. The name Camino Real as a hotel was first used during the opening of Camino Real Guadalajarain 1958. The hotel name was from the road that led to the capital of New Spain known today as Mexico. In June 2000, Camino Real was bought by one of the fast growing companies in the Mexico: Grupo Empresarial Angeles which provided an important amount of sturdiness to the development of hotels with major renovation in every single destination.
