In 2005, it was acquired by Starwood Hotels and Resorts, then in 2015 acquired by Starwood by Marriott. The hotel now is owned and managed by Marriott International.
With the project that Starwood started last 3 years, Le Meridien has embarked on an ambitious expansion and reinvestment of existing property with $300 million worth of budget.
